Between traffic, work and family, finding time for driving school in Nairobi can feel impossible. But every year, hundreds of Stadix learners do it — and here’s how.

The trick is picking a partner school that runs true evening and weekend classes. Not every school does. Centiurion’s Juja, Thika and Kimbo Gwakairu campuses all run structured evening blocks (5:30–7:30pm) and full weekend intakes.

Batch your theory. Most learners try to spread theory over weeks — mistake. Knock out the Highway Code in two focused weekends, then focus all your remaining time on practical.

Book practical lessons in 90-minute blocks, not one-hour blocks. You spend the first 15 minutes settling in behind the wheel; a longer block gives you more real driving time per shilling.

Finally, tell your employer. Most Kenyan employers are supportive of skill-building and may let you leave an hour early twice a week during your test window. You’d be surprised.
